Novacane Insurance Group LLC ("we", "us") is an independent insurance agency in Conway, South Carolina. This notice explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. As an insurance agency we follow the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and South Carolina insurance privacy law.
What we collect
On this website. When you request a quote we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, zip code, optional email, the coverage you are interested in and any notes. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers or bank information on this website.
When we quote or place a policy. To get you accurate quotes we may ask for more by phone, text, email or in person, such as dates of birth, driver's license numbers, vehicle and property details, prior insurance and claims history. Insurance companies may also obtain reports such as motor vehicle records, claims history and, where the law allows, insurance scores.
Site data. Our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security, and we use privacy-friendly traffic counts that do not use advertising cookies. A bot check on the quote form helps stop spam.
How we use it

- To keep records the law requires insurance agencies to keep

Who we share it with
- Insurance companies and their underwriters we submit your quote or policy to, so they can rate, underwrite and service it
- Service providers who help us run the agency, such as our website host, email and texting providers and our client records system, and only to do that work for us
- Others when required, such as regulators, courts or law enforcement, or as South Carolina law otherwise allows
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing.
Text messages and calls
If you checked the consent box on our quote form, we may call, text or email you about your quote and your insurance. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out or HELP for help, or just tell us. Consent is never required to buy insurance.
How we protect it
We limit access to people who need it to serve you, use secured connections on this site and keep records in password protected systems with sign-in codes. No method is perfect, but we work to keep your information safe.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and policy records as long as we need them to serve you and as long as insurance record keeping rules require.
